Cookie Policy

Last updated: 23 October 2026

This policy explains how Tickean uses cookies and similar technologies on its UK site and how you can control them.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels and scripts that read information from your device. In this policy we call them all "cookies".

2. The rules we follow

Regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) requires consent for storing or accessing information on your device, unless an exception applies. The Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 added new exceptions to PECR from 5 February 2026, including one for cookies used only to collect statistical information about how a service is used in order to improve it, provided users get clear information and a simple, free way to object.

We do not currently rely on that statistics exception. We use without consent only the cookies that are strictly necessary for the service you request, and we ask for your consent before loading any analytics or advertising tool. Session recordings and heatmaps are always consent-based.

4. Strictly necessary cookies

5. Optional cookies (only with your consent)

Session recordings and heatmaps capture how you interact with pages, such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movements. They are only used if you accept optional cookies.

6. Changing your mind

You can withdraw your consent at any time. To do so, clear the cookies and site data for www.tickean.co.uk in your browser settings: the banner will then appear again and you can reject optional cookies. You can also e-mail us at hola@tickean.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect the use of cookies before you withdrew it.

Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site, such as the checkout, may not work.

7. Personal data and transfers

Some cookies collect personal data, such as your IP address or device identifiers. Several providers are based in the United States. Our Privacy Policy explains how we protect your data, including international transfers, and what rights you have.

8. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when we add or remove tools. If we add an optional tool, we will ask for your consent again.
