When Fixr fits, when another platform is better, and which numbers you should compare.
Looking for an alternative to Fixr? It usually comes down to three things: fees, when you get paid and control over your attendee data.
Fixr is a London-based ticketing platform used heavily for student events, club nights and societies. Organiser terms depend on the agreement.
Buyers pay a transparent booking fee, shown in the final price.
Money via the payment provider, not weeks after the event.
Scan the door with a smartphone, no hired kit needed.
Add the name, date, venue and ticket tiers.
Post it on Instagram, in WhatsApp groups or on your website.
Check QR codes with your phone and see a live headcount.
Early bird, standard, VIP and guest list in one event.
Sell on your own website via iframe, WordPress or SDK.
A link per promoter, with every sale attributed.
Fixr often suits: Student nights, societies, club nights. If your venue or booking agent requires a specific platform, switching is rarely realistic.
If you do your own promotion (Instagram, WhatsApp, mailing list), you don't need marketplace reach. You need cheap sales, fast money and a simple door. That's when every pound per ticket counts.
0 per cent fee for organisers, a transparent booking fee for buyers, fast payouts through the payment provider, QR tickets by WhatsApp and email, promoter links and a white-label checkout for your own website.
0% fee for organisers: here's how the final price works.
