Ticket Tailor publishes its own pricing. The payment provider's fees sit on top, so compare totals.
Ticket Tailor is a well-known option for UK organisers (small venues, workshops, community events). Before you sign anything, a sober comparison is worth the time.
Ticket Tailor is a UK-founded self-service ticketing platform that publishes its pricing and connects to payment providers such as Stripe or PayPal for payouts.
This page doesn't quote invented percentages. It shows which numbers you should get in writing.
Buyers pay a transparent booking fee, shown in the final price.
Money via the payment provider, not weeks after the event.
Scan the door with a smartphone, no hired kit needed.
Add the name, date, venue and ticket tiers.
Post it on Instagram, in WhatsApp groups or on your website.
Check QR codes with your phone and see a live headcount.
Early bird, standard, VIP and guest list in one event.
Sell on your own website via iframe, WordPress or SDK.
A link per promoter, with every sale attributed.
Organiser fee: Per the platform's current published pricing; no fixed percentage quoted here.
Payout: Depends on the connected payment provider.
Also ask about the booking fee buyers pay, the cost of any door-scanning hardware and whether you can export your attendees' data.
Run the numbers on your next event: capacity, ticket price, your fee, the buyer's booking fee and the date you need the money (artists, sound, security). A low percentage doesn't help much if the payout only lands weeks after the event.
Tickean charges organisers 0 per cent; buyers pay a transparent booking fee included in the final price. Payouts go through the payment provider quickly, tickets arrive as QR codes by WhatsApp and email, and you scan the door with a smartphone. For arena tours with a national box-office network, a traditional ticketing company may still make sense.
0% fee for organisers: here's how the final price works.
